Everyday Self-Control for the Family Pet!
This three-week course will focus on "stationary" basic skills, starting with teaching basic positions and working up to remaining in place until released, even with distractions. Put in practical contexts that are easy to incorporate in your daily interactions with the family pet, this class is a great starting point for adolescent and young adult dogs. Handlers will learn how to build solid wait/stay-type behaviors from the ground up, building on a solid foundation - plus have lots of fun helping your dog learn that patience pays off!
Well-fitting flat collars, cloth martingales (no chain), and front clip harnesses are fine. NO slip collars, choke, prong or shock!!!
Class will be offered on Friday (Apr 16th - Apr 30th) 6:15 - 7:15pm or
Friday (May 7th - May 21st) 5:00 - 6:00pm
