Agility Foundations
A starting point for dogs and handlers new to agility, this course will introduce the handler to several basic moves used to guide the dog on an agility course, including the front, blind and rear crosses. Dogs will be introduced to jumps and tunnels and begin shaping more complex behaviors needed for future contact obstacle training. This course will introduce releases and sends as well as drills to build commitment and motivation. Students who have taken prior sessions of Agility Foundations will continue to progress their skills, including work on contacts and weaves, but new students are welcome and will have exercises tailored to their current skill level.
Note: Class is subject to cancellation if the minimum number of students is not reached
