Novice Ring Readiness

Novice Ring Readiness: This class builds on foundation skills (healing, exam, recall, stay) to solidify engagement and attention while mastering the exercises needed for the introductory Beginner Novice (BN) and basic Companion Dog (CD) titles, and to prepare teams for the Obedience trial environment.

Prerequisite:  permission of instructor – instructor contact info bondmadevisible@gmail.com

Instructor: Chris Allen

For this class, the dog will either stay in a crate, or reliably hold an extended down-stay near other dogs while the handler moves equipment, helps other teams with distraction drills or by acting as “judge” for a classmate, etc., or the handler brings a helper to hold the dog while the handler is helping.
